About the Role

We are hiring a Lead Analyst Credit Risk to join a high-impact analytics and research team supporting global banking and financial institutions clients across the US and UK markets.

This role is designed for professionals who bring deep domain expertise in Financial Institutions credit risk, strong credit writing capabilities, and hands-on experience working with global banking portfolios. You will work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, delivering insight-led credit assessments to senior global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct in-depth credit risk analysis for Financial Institutions, including banks, NBFCs, broker-dealers, asset managers, and funds

- Prepare detailed credit notes, credit opinions, and risk assessment reports aligned to global credit risk frameworks

- Analyze financial statements, ratios, trends, capital adequacy, liquidity, asset quality, profitability, and funding profiles

- Perform portfolio monitoring and periodic credit reviews for US and UK Financial Institutions

- Assess institutional risk indicators, operating environment, regulatory factors, and market developments

- Support senior leadership with high-quality analytical outputs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to timelines

- Operate as an Individual Contributor (IC) with ownership of end-to-end credit deliverables

- Collaborate with global stakeholders and respond confidently to review discussions and analytical challenges

Mandatory Requirements

- Only candidates with core Financial Institutions / Global Banking experience will be considered


- 6+ years of relevant experience in Credit Risk, Credit Research, or Financial Institutions Analysis

- Proven experience covering global banking clients (US/UK) across banks, NBFCs, broker-dealers, funds, or asset managers

- Strong expertise in:

a. Financial statement analysis

b. Ratio and trend analysis

c. Credit risk frameworks and methodologies

d. Institutional credit assessment

- Excellent credit writing and report drafting skills with the ability to present complex analysis clearly

- Experience working in analytics, research, credit risk, or counterparty risk teams

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Management

- Professional certifications such as CA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or FRM will be an added advantage
