Costing Lead

- We are seeking a seasoned Costing and Pricing Specialist to take a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of costing, cost analysis, and pricing strategy.

- The role will be integral to determining product pricing, analyzing cost structures, and driving process improvements to support the organization's financial and strategic goals.

Costing and Cost Analysis:

- Maintain and update costs in SAP systems.

- Analyze and document costs related to materials, labor, and overhead expenses.

- Develop and maintain accurate cost databases.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.

- Monitor cost variances and collaborate with business units to mitigate discrepancies.

- Prepare and support cost audits.

Pricing Strategy:

- Perform pricing simulations to forecast revenue and margin impacts.

- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demands.

Data Management & Reporting:

- Generate detailed cost and pricing reports for internal stakeholders.

- Provide updates on cost structures, pricing adjustments, and their financial implications.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in cost and pricing decisions.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with finance, sales, procurement, and production teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.

- Support sales teams in customer negotiations by providing cost and pricing insights.

- Participate in weekly performance meetings and quarterly reviews with the sales team.

Process Optimization:

- Develop and maintain pricing tools, models, and systems to enhance workflows.

- Establish and promote best practices in cost and pricing management.

- Prepare and present monthly management reports to communicate division, plant, sales, and product performance effectively.
