Job Title : Lead Corporate Accounts

Location : Telangana

Qualification Requirement : CA / CMA / MBA Finance- Qualified

Experience Requirement : 5 -10 years in project finance, project controls, CAPEX management, or investment evaluation in steel/manufacturing/infrastructure sectors

Purpose of the Role :

To lead and strengthen project finance controls, CAPEX governance, project accounting, budgeting, compliance, and financial reporting for large-scale industrial/steel projects by ensuring accurate project capitalization, financial discipline, risk management, and effective stakeholder coordination across project lifecycle management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :

- Timely monthly closure of project books and reporting accuracy

- Percentage of projects capitalized within planned timelines

- CAPEX budget variance vs actuals

- Accuracy of project cash flow forecasting

- Reduction in project cost overruns and schedule slippages

- Closure of audit observations within agreed timelines

- Compliance adherence to accounting standards, Companies Act, DOA, CER/CSR norms

- SAP WBS structure compliance and governance accuracy

- Timeliness and quality of Board/Management reporting

- Automation and process improvement initiatives implemented

Key Result Areas (KRAs) :

1. Project Accounting & Financial Control :

- Ownership of project books, accounting hygiene, and reporting

- Monthly book closure and accounting entries management

- CWIP monitoring and timely capitalization

- Related party transactions and cross-charge accounting

- Financial preparation and statutory audit coordination

2. CAPEX Planning & Budget Management :

- Preparation of long-term and annual CAPEX plans

- Development of project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models

- Monitoring budget vs actuals and variance analysis

- Post-project IRR analysis and investment evaluation

3. SAP & Project Control Governance :

- Ensure SAP WBS structure compliance

- Strengthen project control and approval mechanisms

- Build reporting dashboards through Excel/Tableau/BI

- Drive automation of processes and reporting systems

4. Compliance & Internal Controls :

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and Companies Act

- Establish financial governance and asset verification systems

- Monitor CER/CSR compliance and DOA adherence

- Strengthen internal financial controls

5. Stakeholder Management & Reporting :

- Partner with finance, projects, engineering, procurement, and treasury teams

- Support project financing and lender MIS reporting

- Prepare presentations/reports for Management Committee and Board

- Coordinate audits, lender reviews, and independent engineering evaluations

6. Risk Management & Continuous Improvement :

- Identify financial and operational project risks

- Conduct benchmarking studies and feasibility analysis

- Improve capital cost estimation and contingency planning

- Drive process improvement and best practices implementation
