What your day job looks like at DArtist Talent Ventures:

This role will involve essentially the main and elaborate functions of a Content Agent. This includes developing strategic content insights and to bring relevant content creators, writers, directors and scripts for the said portfolio. Subsequently selling and closing deals to further the company's content efforts and revenue. Along with, a specific focus on Industry Intelligence and client addition to the portfolio.

- Optimising our subsisting Talent pool of Creators, Writers, Directors.

- Through research and networking to find Content opportunities in the market on different platforms.

- Sourcing & evaluating Projects/ Content

- Deal negotiations

- Packaging and selling scripts, ideas, projects created by our Talent or otherwise and finding avenues to bring them to life

- Adding Administrative value to such creative assets by helping them improve productivity, ways of working etc that improves overall capability & output of asset - this has to be done along with Administration Team.

- Compiling thoughtful analyses to determine areas for optimization and improvement in each Talent/Artist eco system

- Track trends and analyse performance in various content categories in India & globally.

- Cultivate relationships and research in the market in an effort to find new talent, shows and projects

- Develop a deep understanding of content market through continuous focus on and knowledge of the competitive and market environment of all content categories

- Communicate market trends around the production and distribution of new content opportunities

Talent Acquisition:

- Scouting for good writers and directors (New & Established) and scripts to add to our repertoire, contract negotiations & closure

- Keeping up to date with who is doing what in the industry through market research & tracking

Artists:

- Tying up with new & upcoming talent that can be launched under DArtist umbrella on various platforms and then finding opportunities for them on content platforms

- Creating Talent Contracts that enable us to get see value of the tie up with a longterm lens.

- Stay up to date on content being made, scripts floating in the market, projects coming together etc

Rights:

- Acquiring Rights to literary works through Publishing houses or Individuals through extensive scouting and research in the literary space

What youll bring:

- Excellent creative, communication, writing & researching skills including the ability to cultivate internal and external relationships

- Capability to create a robust Revenue model based on demand creation and demand delivery.

- Creative mindset with fresh ideas & lateral thinking

- Motivated, disciplined & flexible way of working

- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, taking the initiative, managing multiple projects, and working to find creative solutions with partners under tight time-frames.

- A self -starter with a keen interest in and aptitude for content from across geographies.

- Experience or ability to read scripts and screenplays and give creative feedback to directors and writers to increase the value of the content.

- Must have extensive knowledge of the creative community, and have solid relationships with directors, writers, platforms in the creative community

Minimum qualifications:

- 10 - 12 years of experience

- Post graduate preferred

- Experience in the Creative field, Content Creation/Acquisition/Enhancing revenue.
