Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced HR professional to lead the organization's Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards and HR Operations agenda.

The role will be responsible for developing and implementing compensation strategies, managing employee benefits, driving HR governance and operations, overseeing payroll, strengthening employee lifecycle processes, leveraging HR analytics and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience across Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations and team management, preferably within the Housing Finance, NBFC, Banking, Financial Services or FinTech sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Compensation, Total Rewards & Benefits:

- Own and drive the organization's compensation philosophy, salary structures, grading framework and pay governance.

- Lead the annual compensation cycle covering increments, promotions, market corrections and compensation reviews.

- Conduct compensation benchmarking across Housing Finance Companies, Banks, NBFCs and Financial Services organizations.

- Lead job evaluation, role mapping and organization-wide grading initiatives.

- Design and administer variable pay, sales incentives and performance-linked reward programs.

- Manage employee benefits including Group Mediclaim, Group Term Life, Personal Accident Insurance, NPS, gratuity and wellness programs.

- Develop and implement employee reward and recognition programs.

- Monitor compensation costs and provide recommendations for optimization and competitiveness.

- Ensure internal equity and external market competitiveness of compensation structures.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle:

- Lead end-to-end employee lifecycle processes from onboarding through separation.

- Oversee confirmation, transfers, promotions, employee movements and exit processes.

- Drive HR process standardization, automation and service-delivery excellence.

- Ensure effective implementation and periodic review of HR policies and processes.

- Manage employee records, HR documentation and HR governance frameworks.

- Enhance employee experience through streamlined and technology-enabled HR processes.

Payroll & Compliance:

- Oversee payroll processing, validation and governance in coordination with internal teams and payroll vendors.

- Ensure accuracy, timeliness and confidentiality of payroll operations.

- Support statutory, regulatory and internal audits.

- Ensure compliance with applicable employment, payroll and regulatory requirements, particularly those relevant to the Housing Finance/NBFC sector.

- Govern joining formalities, background verification, employee documentation and HR compliance.

HR Technology, Analytics & Process Transformation:

- Drive effective utilization and optimization of HRMS platforms and HR technology.

- Strong exposure to SAP SuccessFactors is preferred.

- Drive HR process automation, digitization and paperless HR initiatives.

- Maintain high standards of employee data integrity and audit readiness.

- Develop HR dashboards, analytics and management reports to support data-driven decision-making.

- Identify opportunities to improve HR efficiency through technology and process redesign.

Team & Stakeholder Management:

- Lead and mentor the HR Operations/Rewards team.

- Partner closely with senior management and business leaders on compensation and people-related decisions.

- Work collaboratively with Finance, Payroll, Compliance, Business HR and other stakeholders.

- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on compensation, benefits, workforce costs and HR operations.

Qualifications:

- Full-time MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or related discipline from a reputed institute.

- 10 - 15 years of relevant experience across Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, HR Operations and Team Management.

- Prior experience in Housing Finance, NBFC, Banking, Financial Services, FinTech or related sectors is preferred.

- Strong experience in compensation benchmarking, salary structures, grading, variable pay and benefits management.

- Strong exposure to payroll governance and employee lifecycle management.

- Hands-on experience with HRMS/HR technology; SAP SuccessFactors experience preferred.

- Certifications in Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, Payroll or HR Analytics will be an advantage.
