- Lead the development of the medium-to-long-term business strategy for the unsecured business, aligned with the organisation's overall goals.
- Prepare, review and monitor annual, quarterly and monthly business plans, including profitability, balance sheet positioning and return to shareholders.
- Define key performance metrics for each business line and support function and establish mechanisms for tracking and reporting them.
- Analyse business performance across locations, segments and sub-products; benchmark against industry and competition; identify growth and optimisation opportunities.
- Lead strategic projects (end-to-end): from scoping, data gathering, modelling, business case creation, to execution and tracking outcomes.
- Build and deliver high-quality presentations and decks for senior management (including CXOs) and board level.
- Work closely with the Business Head and cross- functional stakeholders (product, risk, finance, operations, marketing) to drive initiatives and ensure alignment.
- Evaluate new product/scheme proposals with product teams to augment profitability, ensure appropriate risk/reward, and link to strategic priorities.
- Support regulatory, audit and compliance activities relevant to the unsecured business; liaise with internal and external auditors, regulators as needed.
