Business Finance Lead

Location: Noida | Bangalore | Mumbai

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly driven Business Finance Operations Lead to partner with leadership and drive financial strategy, operational efficiency, and scalable processes across a high-growth organization. This is a senior, hands-on role ideal for Chartered Accountants (CAs) or finance professionals with startup experience, strong analytical acumen, and a passion for building financial systems that inform and power business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to guide strategic and operational decisions.

- Translate financial insights into actionable recommendations for leadership and business teams.

2. Finance Operations:

- Oversee accounting, reconciliations, fund flow management, and financial hygiene across multiple business units.

- Ensure timely closure of books and accuracy in reporting.

3. Business Partnering:

- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Operations teams to ensure alignment of financial goals with business priorities.

- Act as a trusted finance advisor to drive ROI-based decision-making and resource efficiency.

4. Investor & Board Reporting:

- Prepare and present MIS reports, dashboards, and financial insights for leadership, investors, and the board.

- Support fundraising activities with detailed financial analyses typical of Series B/C-stage companies.

5. Process & Systems Development:

- Design and implement scalable, automation-friendly finance processes suited for a high-growth startup.

- Work with internal teams to streamline data flow, reporting, and controls.

6. Company Secretarial & Compliance:

- Coordinate statutory filings, board documentation, and regulatory compliance with legal advisors or company secretarial partners.

- Manage audits, tax filings, and ensure adherence to all statutory requirements.

7. Legal & Contract Validation:

- Review and validate commercial contracts, vendor agreements, and partnerships to ensure financial prudence and compliance.

8. Data-Driven Decision Support:

- analyze large datasets to identify trends, optimize business performance, and support rapid decision-making.

- Drive automation and dashboarding to enhance financial visibility and accountability.

Requirements:

- Prior experience in Telecom, AI, Human/Hybrid Calling, or Contact Centre industries preferred.

- Exposure to Series B/C-stage startups operating in fast-paced, execution-driven environments.

- Proven ability to operate in startup mode agile, hands-on, and execution-focused.

- Strong understanding of unit economics, business drivers, and ROI-based decision frameworks.

- Experience in partnering with founders and leadership on fundraising and strategic growth planning.

- Ability to build finance systems and processes from scratch.

- Excellent balance between control and speed, ensuring compliance without slowing execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

- CA / CFA with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and data interpretation skills.

- Proficient in automation tools, dashboards, and financial reporting systems.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Curious, proactive, and data-driven problem solver.
