Job Title : Lead Business Analyst - Data and AI

Role Overview:

- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Lead Business Analyst to drive business impact across Data & Analytics and Generative AI (GenAI) initiatives. This role will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders, data science teams, engineering, and product functions to define, deliver, and scale data-driven and AI-powered solutions.

- The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of business acumen, data fluency, stakeholder management, and experience working on AI/ML/GenAI-driven products, with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable insights and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Problem define

- Partner with business Stakeholders to understand and define the problem statement for the team to solve

- Break down the business problem into data, analytical and AI steps with clear hypotheses and measurable outcomes.

- Define ROI, success metrics (KPIs), and value tracking frameworks for data and AI initiatives.

2. Requirements Gathering & Solution Design

- Lead end-to-end requirements elicitation using structured approaches (workshops, stakeholder interviews, design thinking).

- Create user stories, epics, BRDs/FRDs, and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile methodologies.

- Collaborate with architects and data teams to define solution architecture involving data pipelines, models, and GenAI components

- Manage the demand pipeline and track progress in JIRA

3. GenAI Product & Use Case Development

- Identify and shape GenAI use cases across functions (e.g., automation, insights generation, conversational AI, knowledge assistants).

- Drive user adoption and feedback loops for continuous improvement of AI products.

4. Stakeholder Management & Communication

- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across business, technology, and product teams.

Facilitate alignment between:

- Business expectations

- Technical feasibility

- Delivery timelines

- Present insights, recommendations, and progress updates through executive-ready storytelling and dashboards.

5. Agile Delivery & Project Leadership

- Lead/collaborate in Agile squads, owning backlog prioritization and sprint planning.

- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of data and AI solutions.

- Manage dependencies across cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, product).

- Drive UAT, change management, and production rollout.

6. Value Realization & Continuous Improvement

- Track and report business impact and ROI of analytics and GenAI initiatives.

- Define and monitor model performance, drift, and business adoption KPIs.

- Drive continuous enhancement using data-driven feedback loops.

Required Skills:

Experience:

- Strong experience in Business Analysis / Consulting / Data & Analytics roles

Technical Skills (Preferred):

Experience with tools like:

- Jira, Confluence

- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- SQL and data querying proficiency

Soft Skills:

- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking

- Strong communication and storytelling skills

- Ability to manage ambiguity and complexity
