Description:

The Opportunity

Join one of Indias most diversified NBFCs and a top-10 "Large Workplace" in Asia. This is a role for a Behavioral Design Thinker who wants to bridge the gap between academic rigor and real-world fintech products. You will not just be "conducting studies"; you will be engineering user trust and behavior for millions of customers by applying psychological frameworks to our core digital journeys.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Deep Behavioral Inquiry: Conduct moderated and unmoderated interviews using frameworks like Prospect Theory and System 1 & 2 thinking to uncover latent emotional drivers.

- Scientific Design: Deploy quantitative studies grounded in TPB (Theory of Planned Behavior) and Self-Determination Theory to predict user intent.

- Insight Synthesis: Translate complex psychometric data into actionable behavioral frameworks (Personas, Mental Models, Journey Maps).

- Design Thinking Integration: Partner with Product and Design teams to convert insights into bias-aware "nudges" and UX improvements.

- Experimentation: Own the end-to-end research lifecyclefrom participant recruitment to behavioral experimentation and storytelling.

Mandatory Requirements:

- Experience: 2+ years in Behavioral Research, Consumer Behavior Analysis, or Behavioral Science.

- Industry Background: Experience in high-growth B2C product organizations (Fintech, E-commerce, or Consumer Tech) where user data is central to the business.

- Education: Background in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or Cognitive Science (BA/MA/MSc/BSc). Candidates from top-tier research institutes are highly preferred.

- Technical Literacy: Hands-on with research tools like Figma, Maze, or UserTesting, with a strong understanding of digital product journeys.

- The Mindset: This is a Behavioral Science role, not a pure UX or Data Analyst role. You must be comfortable combining research methodologies with behavioral data analysis.

Important Notes for Candidates:

- Work Model: This is a 6 Days Work From Office (WFO) role. Please apply only if you are comfortable with this schedule.

- Hiring Process: Shortlisted candidates must be open to traveling to Pune for a Face-to-Face (F2F) interview.

- Gender Diversity: We are an equal opportunity employer and strongly encourage applications from qualified female candidates for this position.
