Job Summary : - Support the development and execution of consulting's digital finance transformation in alignment with priorities set by Finance leadership and our overall strategy. - Develop and maintain key relationships across CIO, CDAO, Operations, Finance leadership, and Finance S&E to ensure ongoing collaboration and alignment on both strategic direction as well as specific initiatives. - Identify and support delivery of the best technology solutions that will support individual initiatives for our transformation journey and/or which will help strengthen our underlying technology foundation. - Supervise the portfolio of transformation initiatives, working with initiatives teams and other stakeholders to ensure progress and quality. - Represent consulting Finance and our transformation story externally with clients. Key Responsibilities : Strategy and foundation : - Contribute to developing and maintaining our digital transformation strategy, aligning with our wider Finance strategy and strategic intents for our technology platforms. - Engage with relevant stakeholders and drive foundational improvements to our technology platform, e.g. SAP SaaS, RPA platform, data architecture, modular architecture. - Contribute to developing and/or enhancing new operating frameworks, e.g. RPA factory, R&A review board, RLS security architecture. New technology : - Proactively investigate new technologies as they become available and assess potential fit and value if adopted by consulting Finance. Transformation initiatives : - Supervise the wider portfolio of transformation initiatives, reviewing solution proposals, business cases, goals and objectives, and working with initiatives teams to ensure delivery on time and budget. Provide proactive guidance to mitigate risks and optimize solution design. - Connecting initiative teams with wider stakeholders (e.g. S&E FPA, CIO, Operations, Finance leadership, other corporate functions) to ensure ongoing alignment. In doing this, also serve as a person to 'unblock problems', connecting the right people and teams, escalating issues, and/or leveraging wider relationships to solve issues faster and with quality. - Contribute to the annual investment planning cycle, working with Finance function leads to assess and prioritize initiatives. External representation : - Contribute to and own parts of our Living Credentials, ensuring that our materials tell the wider transformation story as well as goes deeper into select topics. - Build relationships and collaborate on Finance transformation thought leadership and offerings with CFO&EV and Operations. - Participate in client discussions, professional forums, and/or conferences to represent our Finance transformation journey externally. - Coach wider Finance leadership on our transformation story, ensuring they can have similar external discussions and contribute to scaling the program wider across more leaders. Common : - Combine and utilize a high-level strategic view on our transformation journey with a progress oriented and pragmatic approach to individual initiatives. - The role does not always have formal responsibility over the initiatives or areas that it is engaged in. It is therefore required that the person in role can build credibility and trust to exercise influence without formal ownership. Relationships : Reports to: Finance Technology Lead - Strategy & Enablement. Supervises: Finance Technology team (TBC). Relationships: Finance S&E leadership, Finance S&E FPA leads, Finance function leadership, CIO leadership, CDAO leadership, Operations leadership, other corporate function S&E leads. Qualifications : - Education: Finance degree or related field. - Work Experience: 10 or more years including relevant experience in leading complex Finance processes or transformation programs with strategic as well as practical responsibilities. Skills : - Strategic while also practical and progress oriented. - Analytical and structured. - Collaborative in nature. - Influential, also when not having formal authority. Work Requirements : - Travel dependent on location but expected to be very limited. - Since this is a global role, some flexibility in work hours will be required to align with stakeholders in other time zones.
