Role Overview:

The Asset Monitoring lead will serve as a critical pillar in overseeing the health and performance of diverse investment portfolios. This role involves deep-dive financial analysis, rigorous monitoring of operational KPIs, and active engagement with stakeholders to ensure that assets meet their projected IRR and DSCR targets. You will work closely with investment committees and operational teams to identify risks early, optimize cash flows, and provide actionable insights that influence strategic decision-making at the senior management level.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end monitoring and evaluation of portfolio assets to ensure alignment with initial investment theses and financial projections.

- Conduct detailed financial modeling, including IRR and DSCR sensitivity analysis, to assess the impact of operational variances on overall asset performance.

- Oversee the reporting cycle for institutional stakeholders, translating complex financial data into clear, strategic narratives regarding asset health.

- Identify potential risks within the portfolio and develop mitigation strategies to protect capital and ensure consistent yield generation.

- Collaborate with internal finance and operations teams to streamline data collection processes and improve the accuracy of performance forecasting.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and quantitative analysis, with a proven ability to evaluate complex debt and equity structures.

- Strong proficiency in monitoring and evaluation frameworks, specifically within the context of large-scale asset management or infrastructure projects.

- Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting technical financial findings to senior leadership and external stakeholders with clarity and confidence.

- Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously while maintaining rigorous attention to detail in a fast-paced Mumbai-based office environment.

- A Master's degree in Finance, MBA from a premier institute, or a professional qualification such as CFA is highly preferred.

- Candidates must possess 10 - 17 years of relevant experience in asset management, portfolio monitoring, or investment banking.
