Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Lead Assembly professional to lead assembly operations for precision components, ensuring achievement of production volumes, quality, cost, and delivery targets. The role will be responsible for developing manufacturing strategies, driving operational excellence, and building a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement short-term and medium-term strategies for assembly operations.

- Prepare and execute the annual operating plan aligned with key performance indicators and business objectives.

- Lead assembly operations to achieve targeted production volumes while managing business and demand variations.

- Ensure on-time delivery while maintaining defined cost, quality, productivity, and operational targets.

- Drive line balancing, assembly process optimization, and capacity utilization.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.

- Promote Lean Manufacturing practices and institutionalize a culture of continuous improvement.

- Drive employee engagement, capability development, and effective workforce utilization.

- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and enable improved stakeholder performance.

- Monitor operational KPIs and take corrective actions to address gaps and improve overall assembly performance.

Required Candidate Profile:

- B.E./B.Tech in Engineering or equivalent qualification.

- 18 - 25 years of experience in engineering/manufacturing industries, with significant experience in assembly operations.

- Strong experience in precision parts assembly, preferably involving manual and/or partially automated assembly processes.

- Strong understanding of assembly production, assembly processes, line balancing, and manufacturing operations.

- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and people management skills.

- Ability to manage production volumes while balancing quality, cost, delivery, and productivity requirements.
