
Lead Application Delivery (Procurement & GST Applications)

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Application Delivery professional to manage and support business-critical Procurement and GST applications that enable seamless Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of functional expertise in Procurement/GST processes and technical proficiency in SQL/PLSQL-based enterprise applications. This role requires close collaboration with Business, Finance, IT Infrastructure, Governance, Audit, and Risk teams to ensure stable application delivery, continuous improvements, and an exceptional business user experience. This is a business-critical application delivery role involving production support, stakeholder management, application enhancements, and end-to-end ownership of enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Business & Functional Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end delivery and support of Procurement and GST applications.
- Support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes including Requisition, Purchase Orders, Invoice Processing, and issue resolution.
- Partner with Procurement, Finance, and Business teams to understand business requirements and drive solution delivery.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across procurement applications to enable seamless downstream processing.
- Act as the primary interface between Business, Procurement, Finance, and Technology teams for Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.
- Drive timely resolution of production issues while ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Coordinate with IT Infrastructure, Governance, Audit, Risk, and other internal teams for application availability and compliance.
- Manage application releases, production deployments, enhancements, and change requests.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects.
- Analyse production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
- Support application integrations using REST APIs.
- Review application changes and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Infrastructure teams during solution delivery.
- Monitor application performance and recommend improvements for scalability, security, and reliability.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.
- Work with IIS and Git-based version control systems.
- Support multiple enterprise applications across Procurement and Finance domains.

- 78 years of experience in Enterprise Application Delivery, Production Support, or Application Management.
- Strong experience supporting Procurement, GST, ERP, or Finance applications.
- Banking or BFSI industry experience is highly preferred.
- Experience working with multiple enterprise applications in a production environment.
- Exposure to ERP platforms supporting Procurement or Finance functions will be an added advantage.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
