Lead Analyst/Principal Analyst - Fundamental Equities

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Analyst / Principal Analyst to join our Fundamental Equities research team. The role requires deep expertise in investment research, financial modelling, and valuation, with sector exposure in Energy or Industrial sectors across global markets.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical capabilities, a solid understanding of equity markets, and experience generating high-quality research insights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth fundamental equity research across Energy or Industrial sectors (any geography)

- Build and maintain complex financial models (3-statement models, DCF, relative valuation, scenario analysis)

- Perform detailed company valuations and investment thesis development

- Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and industry trends

- Prepare high-quality research reports and investment recommendations

- Track sector developments, macroeconomic indicators, and regulatory changes

- Present insights to internal stakeholders or clients

- Mentor junior analysts (for Principal Analyst level)

Required Skills & Expertise:

- Strong experience in investment research

- Advanced financial modelling & valuation skills

- Sector experience in Energy or Industrial sectors

- Strong understanding of global equity markets

- Excellent analytical and presentation skills

Preferred Background:

- Experience in buy-side or sell-side equity research

- Professional certifications such as CFA (preferred but not mandatory)
