Lead Analyst - Equity Research - Capital Goods

Job Title : Lead Equity Research Analyst - Capital Goods(10-15 Years)

Location : Mumbai

Role Overview :

We are looking to hire a Lead Equity Research Analyst to cover the Capital Goods sector. The role involves driving sector research, generating investment ideas, and publishing high-quality reports for institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead coverage of the Capital Goods sector, including building and maintaining detailed financial models

- Publish initiation reports, quarterly updates, and thematic research notes

- Generate actionable investment ideas backed by strong fundamental analysis

- Track industry trends, company developments, and macro factors impacting the sector

- Interact with company managements, industry experts, and channel partners

- Support sales teams through client interactions, roadshows, and investor meetings

- Mentor junior analysts/associates within the team

Key Requirements :

- 8-10 years of experience in equity research (buy-side or sell-side)

- Strong experience covering Capital Goods/Industrials sector preferred

- Proven track record of stock recommendations and report writing

- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- CFA / MBA (Finance) preferred
