Position: Lead Analyst - Banking / Pharma & Healthcare / Fintech

Location: Malad, Mumbai, India

Department: Institutional Equity Research

Banking Analyst: 7+ years experience covering the banking sector (mandatory)

Pharma & Healthcare Analyst: Banking Analyst 7+ years experience covering the Pharma & Healthcare sectors (mandatory)

Fintech Analyst: 7+ years experience covering the fintech sector (mandatory)

Responsibilities:

- Under the guidance of the Director - Research, the Lead Analyst will perform the following:

- Financial modelling: Build and maintain financial models for active and new positions.

- Preparing and making detailed company reports, sector reports and thematic research reports.

- Undertaking primary research for key thematic reports.

- Timely release of research update notes.

- Monitoring news and events that affects BFSI Sector.

- Attending result con-calls and interacting with senior management team for companies under coverage.

- Tracking and analyzing regulatory changes and their impact on the sector.

- Building and updating industry databases.

- Developing and maintaining client marketing and presentation materials.

- Regular servicing to institutional clients / prospects

- Help and support in hosting corporate events / conferences.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Keen interest in tracking equity markets and various global events.

- Ability to identify sectoral /company specific events and generate actionable calls (BUY/ SELL/ HOLD) with supporting logic and data.

- Sound knowledge of financial statement analysis and various valuation methodology.

- Proficiency with financial research tools such as Bloomberg, Capitaline, etc.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to details.

- Should have a good Corporate Connect

- Should have good client connect, should be able to generate votes from counterpart analysts.
