Role: Lead Analyst - Asset Servicing (Geneva)
Role Overview:
- We are looking for a skilled Lead Analyst with strong experience in Asset Servicing and Syndicated Bank Debt operations.
- The role involves managing end-to-end processing of loan lifecycle events, reconciliation activities, and exception handling across global portfolios using tools like Geneva and DUCO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end asset servicing activities including Drawdown, Paydown, Rollovers, and PIK processing
- Execute Cash Reconciliation and Position Reconciliation across portfolios on a daily basis
- Investigate and resolve Cash Breaks and Position Breaks, ensuring timely closure
- Process and validate transactions related to Bank Debt, Loan Syndication, and CLOs
- Review upcoming activities, exceptions, and contract modifications via Geneva WSO Accelerator
- Ensure all transactions and lifecycle events are accurately updated in the Geneva system
Liaise with Agents, Trustees, Custodians, and internal teams for exception resolution
- Escalate unresolved issues to stakeholders and ensure timely follow-ups
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot operational and technical issues
- Participate in UAT testing, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain SOPs and training documentation
- Support global stakeholders and ensure adherence to SLAs and timelines
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong domain expertise in Loan Syndication, Bank Debt, Private Credit, and CLO/CDO instruments
- Hands-on experience with Geneva (Syndicated Bank Debt module)
- Proficiency in reconciliation tools like DUCO or similar platforms
- Deep understanding of Cash & Position Reconciliation and Break Management
- Familiarity with lifecycle events such as Drawdown, Paydown, Rollovers, and PIK
- Strong knowledge of market participants including Agent Banks, Trustees, and Custodians
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, along with working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
Candidate Profile:
- 7-11 years of relevant experience in Asset Servicing / Loan Operations
- Prior experience handling end-to-end processing in Syndicated Bank Loans
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with experience working with global stakeholders
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently
Education:
- CA / CMA / CFA / MBA / B.
- Com with relevant experience
- This role does not require Fund Accounting experience
- Strong focus on reconciliation, exception management, and loan lifecycle processing
