Lead - Accounts Receivable (O2C)

Location: Bangalore

We are looking for a seasoned Lead - Accounts Receivable (O2C) to lead end-to-end Order-to-Cash operations for a global IT services organization. This is a leadership role focused on driving billing excellence, optimizing collections, improving cash flow, and ensuring strong financial controls across global operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead global AR operations including billing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution

- Drive improvements in DSO, cash flow, and collection efficiency

- Ensure accurate billing aligned with T&M, fixed-price, and milestone-based contracts

- Partner with Sales, Delivery, and Finance teams to ensure smooth O2C execution

- Manage customer escalations and strengthen client relationships

- Drive process improvements, automation, and ERP adoption (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite)

- Lead and mentor teams across geographies with strong KPI-driven performance

- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements

Key Requirements

- 10-15 years of experience in Accounts Receivable / O2C

- Mandatory experience in IT Services / ITES / Consulting environment

- Strong understanding of revenue models: T&M, fixed-price, milestone billing

- Experience managing global clients (US/Europe)

- Proven experience in leading large teams and global operations

- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and financial controls (US GAAP/IFRS preferred)
