Lead - Accounts Receivable - B2B & B2C Domain - CA

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Lead to oversee and manage our AR function across both B2B and B2C business models. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong internal audit experience, proven leadership skills, and a track record of driving process improvements in collections and receivables.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process for multiple business units (B2B and B2C).

- Supervise and mentor a team, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and reporting.

- Conduct internal audits of AR processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal controls.

- Oversee credit management, assess credit risk, and enforce credit policies to minimize bad debts.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, and Operations) to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.

- Prepare periodic AR reports, aging analysis, and cash flow forecasts for management review.

- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize collection efficiency and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant (CA).

- MBA in Finance or related field.

- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, with at least 2-3 years in a team lead or managerial role.

- Prior experience handling both B2B and B2C receivables preferred.

- Strong knowledge of internal audit, financial controls, and accounting principles.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proven experience in managing a team of at least 4 members.

- Strong understanding of various business models including B2B, B2C, marketplaces, quick commerce, and offline business.

- Hands-on experience in internal audit and financial compliance.

- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and MS Excel.
