About the Role:

- Were seeking a dynamic Lead - Accounting to join a fast-paced finance team within a leading international retail group.

- In this role, you will take ownership of core financial accounting processes, including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Banking, and other supporting functions.

- Youll ensure integrity in financial reporting, statutory compliance, and effective governance while leading a small, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and deliver timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes.

- Oversee Balance Sheet reconciliations and ensure all financial records comply with internal controls and external regulations.

- Ensure statutory compliance filings are completed within deadlines.

- Support internal and external audit processes with required documentation and insights.

- Lead process improvements through simplification, automation, and standardisation of accounting procedures.

- Act as a key point of contact for finance counterparts across the business to ensure aligned reporting and strong stakeholder engagement.

- Build and coach a team of finance professionals to support delivery of high-quality outcomes.

What Youll Bring?

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

- CA Qualified.

- 6-9 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in a large corporate or retail environment.

- Hands-on experience with SAP S4HANA or similar ERP system.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and compliance processes.

- Proven leadership in managing finance teams and handling month-end/year-end cycles.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- CA Qualified.

- Experience in the Retail or Shared Services industry.

- Strong RTR (Record to Report) process knowledge.
