Practice Area: Banking & Finance

Experience: 2-10 years (Law Firm Background)

What Youll Do:

- Advise clients on a wide range of banking, structured finance, and debt transactions, including syndicated lending, project finance, acquisition finance, and external commercial borrowings.

- Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, intercreditor and subordination arrangements, and related documentation.

- Support regulatory and compliance aspects involving RBI, SEBI, FEMA, and other sectoral authorities.

- Provide legal and strategic inputs on restructuring, refinancing, and enforcement matters.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the growth of the Banking & Finance practice.

What Youll Bring:

- LL.B. (mandatory); LL.M / MAS / J.D. preferred.

- Proven experience in banking & finance transactions at a reputed law firm.

- Strong understanding of Indian banking regulations, security creation, and credit structuring.

- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.

- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong teamwork and client management abilities.

Preferred Exposure:

- Experience with cross-border financings, regulatory filings, and due diligence.

- Familiarity with RBI circulars, FEMA regulations, and SEBI guidelines.

- Ability to manage multiple deal streams and deliver under tight timelines.
