Lead - Online is responsible for management and execution of the ecommerce business, both at the strategic and operational levels overseeing sales, operations and business development across ecommerce platforms driving business of 70 - 100 crores and reports into Head - Marketing & Online and will collaborate with the Marketing and, category and operations teams to develop an informed point of view on what is needed to drive sustainable eCommerce growth online and eCommerce-influenced growth offline (in stores) Responsibility: - This position is primarily responsible for driving the ecommerce platforms to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals on below metrics: - Ensure achievement of Target in Sales, NOB, ABV for sparindia.com against budget with sales target of 77 Cr for the year - Maintain Sales Share mix for ecommerce business (sparindia.com) at 85% for Food, 15% for Home & Living - AOV of 1322 for year - Ensure Margins for ecommerce business (sparindia.com) at 17.2% - Control Logistics Costs at under Rs 70 Cost per Order - Ensure P&L contribution Level break even by Oct -21 - Generate 6 Cr per annum on Marketplaces - Generate 5% of Sales as Additional Income - Overseeing and monitoring all operational responsibilities of sales and distribution i.e. sales and logistics related to the ecommerce business - Working in collaboration with Head Operations, Zonal Business heads and category heads to implement ecommerce/online strategy - Responsible for technology implementation creating seamlessness in the ecommerce platforms (sparindia.org) - Responsible for new product development in ecommerce space including and not limited on below: - Roll Out of Payment Gateway - Refund Automation process - Customer Service Excellence - Price Benchmarking for ecommerce business - Smart Search & Application Redesign - Other New Developments - Daily/Weekly/Monthly reviews with (Internal Team, Technology Partners, Analytics Partners, Merchandise Teams, Operations Teams, Marketing Teams and Agencies) and reporting across all metrics to the management - Build and lead a culture of excellence across the online business and processes.
