Land Acquisition Manager - Wind & Solar Projects | Andhra Pradesh (Multiple Openings)

About the client:

Our client is a leading renewable energy company headquartered in Hyderabad, with over 15 years of experience building sustainable energy infrastructure across India. It has commissioned more than 1.5 GW of renewable projects and is now developing a pipeline of over 8 GW, including large solar parks paired with battery energy storage. Its work spans project development, EPC, asset ownership and operations and maintenance, and it is expanding into green hydrogen and round-the-clock renewable power.

We are hiring for a leading renewable energy organisation that is expanding its wind and solar portfolio in Andhra Pradesh. There are around 10 openings across levels, with several to be filled immediately.

The work:

- Identify and acquire land parcels for wind and solar projects

- Negotiate with landowners and farmers, and close purchase and lease agreements

- Run land due diligence: ownership, title, encumbrances, land classification and revenue records

- Work with Revenue Department officials, Tahsildars/MROs and registration authorities on mutation, conversion and registration

- Resolve title, documentation and local stakeholder issues

- Track targets, costs and progress, and report to senior management

- Coordinate with Project Development, Legal, Engineering and Construction teams

- Travel extensively across Andhra Pradesh

Who we are looking for:

- Hands-on experience acquiring land for projects. Renewable energy, power or infrastructure experience is preferred, and wind or solar is a strong advantage.

- Experience on land acquisition projects in Andhra Pradesh

- Working knowledge of Andhra Pradesh land records, ownership verification and registration processes

- Proven experience negotiating with farmers and landowners

- Ability to read, write and speak Telugu. Fluent spoken Telugu is essential.

- Willingness to travel extensively within Andhra Pradesh
