Job Description: We seek a highly skilled and visionary Product Engineering Head to lead our Legal Tech product development efforts. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for gathering customer and stakeholder requirements, articulating the "why" behind product development, and collaborating closely with the engineering lead to guide the creation of innovative technology products. A deep understanding of coding and technology stacks is essential for success in this position. Key Responsibilities: 1. Requirement and Feedback Gathering: - Engage proactively with customers, stakeholders, and end-users to elicit detailed requirements and feedback on specific product ideas. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of product needs. - Document and prioritize requirements and feedback, considering business objectives and market trends. 2. Product Vision and Strategy: - Develop a clear and compelling product vision that aligns with the company's strategic goals. - Articulate the "why" behind each product, addressing how it will address the client's need and meet market demands, or create new opportunities. - Define product roadmaps and strategies to achieve long-term objectives. 3. Engineering Collaboration: - Communicate product requirements, vision, and strategy effectively to engineering leads and teams. - Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creative problem-solving and innovation. - Ensure that development efforts align with product goals and timelines. 4. Tech Stack Expertise: - Possess a strong background in coding and technology stacks relevant to the company's products. - Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices. - Provide technical guidance and insights to engineering teams when necessary. 5. Quality Assurance: - Oversee the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure that products meet high quality and performance standards. - Implement processes for continuous improvement and defect resolution. 6. Stakeholder Communication: - Maintain open and transparent communication with stakeholders, providing updates on product development progress and addressing concerns. - Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating technical details into understandable language. Skill Requirements: 1. Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical field. 2. Proven experience in product engineering and development roles, with a background in coding. 3. Strong understanding of technology stacks and software development methodologies. 4. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. 5. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. 6. Leadership experience, including managing cross-functional teams.
