Job Opportunity for Sr. Accounts Manager (HOD)
Experience: 8+ Years
Location: Mumbai
Requirement:
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting:
- Lead end-to-end accounting functions including General Ledger (GL), trial balance, and financial closures.
- Finalise standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with Ind AS, GAAP (with IFRS awareness).
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing with accurate reporting.
- Drive improvements in reporting timelines and accuracy.
2. Statutory Compliance & Taxation:
- Ensure 100% compliance with statutory regulations including GST, TDS, PF, and Income Tax.
- Oversee preparation and filing of returns and handle tax assessments and audits.
- Manage deferred tax computations, reconciliation of Form 26AS / AIS, and tax planning strategies.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
3. Audit & Internal Controls:
- Manage statutory, internal, and cost audits with zero non-compliance outcomes.
- Design, implement, and monitor internal control frameworks and SOPs.
- Strengthen governance practices and reduce audit observations.
4. MIS & Business Finance:
- Develop and present MIS reports, dashboards, and financial analytics for management decision-making.
- Perform budget vs. actual analysis and variance reporting.
- Support strategic planning through financial modelling and performance insights.
5. Treasury & Working Capital Management:
- Manage cash flow, fund flow forecasting, and liquidity planning.
- Optimize working capital including receivables, payables, and inventory cycles.
- Oversee banking operations including digital treasury platforms (e.g., H2H banking).
6. Project & Cost Accounting:
- Monitor project-wise costing, budgeting, and expense tracking.
- Conduct cost analysis and support cost audits.
- Ensure financial discipline across large-scale projects and multi-branch operations.
7. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead and mentor finance and accounts teams (8+ members or more).
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, and senior management.
- Drive team productivity, training, and performance improvement.
8. Systems & Process Improvement:
- Leverage ERP systems such as SAP FICO S/4HANA, Tally Prime for efficient operations.
- Automate financial processes and improve system controls.
- Lead process re-engineering initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
