Lactalis Group - IT Head/Chief Information Officer

Job Objective:

To lead and oversee all aspects of the IT department, driving technology initiatives, implementing innovative solutions, and ensuring the alignment of IT strategies with organizational objectives to optimize efficiency and support business growth.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.

- Propose, defend and manage IT budget both OPEX and CAPEX.

- Elaborate monthly report to HQ on opex.

- Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to drive performance and professional development.

- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage systems.

- Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data through the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies to streamline processes and enhance business capabilities.

- Collaborate with senior management and departmental heads to understand IT needs and priorities, and align technology solutions accordingly.

- Manage IT budgets and resources effectively, optimizing investments to deliver maximum value and ROI.

- Evaluate and select technology vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective and reliable services.

- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and assess the potential impact on the organization's IT strategy and operations.

- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence within the IT department.

Job Requirement:

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum Work Experience: 15-20 Years.

Critical Experiences/Exposure Required:

- Successfully leading IT teams, delivering SAP and Functional IT projects on time and within budget, aligning IT strategies with business objectives, and demonstrating strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Geographical scope: Chennai based position but companies are Pan India.
