Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager to join our team in Bengaluru. The role involves managing sales activities within the assigned territory, developing strategies to achieve business objectives, nurturing long-term customer relationships, and ensuring consistent revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and drive sales activities within the designated territory.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Food, and related industries.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations with prospective customers.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to support business planning.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Ensure timely collections and compliance with company policies.
- Travel extensively within the territory to meet clients and support business development initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Science/Engineering/Pharma or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales (preferably in Analytical Instruments or related industries).
- Proven track record in Sales Management, Territory Management, and Business Development.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Industry knowledge of Pharmaceutical, Chemical, and related sectors is highly desirable.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
