We have a suitable opportunity in one of our divisions for the position of Junior Controller. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the financial performance of a Brand/Channel. You will also act as an Business partner of the Business/ channel. The Candidate should have 4-5 years of professional experience with FMCG. The location of the job will be Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

- End to end financial responsibility of business P&L and processes.

- Driving the P&L with a long-term horizon.

- Reviewing spends and other investments

- Ensuring every line item of P&L is reviewed

- Driving the business/finance policy in the division.

- Preparation of Trends and Budgets and presenting the same to stakeholders.

- Full understanding of system flow and which P&L line item any decision impacts.

- On Time settlement of payouts

- Study and benchmarking of product pricing, margins and discounting with competition on regular basis across the channels.

- Working very closely with business teams to enable them to achieve business results and objectives.

- Driving the Gross Margins and profitability

- Provide timely analysis and inputs to Senior Controller and other stakeholders.

- Managing the complexity of categories, channels, direct/indirect business.

- Finding ways of optimizing spends through value creation

Key Deliverables:

- All processes are followed.

- Making sure completion of any group internal control audit in a satisfactory manner.

- Driving ROI Mindset

- Delivery of all channel/brand P&L.

- Timely monthly closings and reporting.

- Preparations of P&L of all Channel along with Gross Margins/Customer contribution/P&L and full analysis of all the drivers on monthly basis and during trends and budgets.

Key Competencies:

- Must be able to integrate with the commercial & Brand Teams of different channels.

- Must have complete understanding of Indian FMCG commercial working environment.

- Must have working knowledge of SAP and business tools.

- Act as a enabler.

- Solution oriented.

- End to end understanding.

- Agility and adaptability.

- Act as a business partner.

- Should have high level of accuracy and must respect timelines.

- Must not be doing postmortem of results at month end rather should be on top of his business on day to day basis in order to take right decisions timely.
