JOB TITLE: Brand Community Manager - CPD, Mumbai

A Day in the Life as a Community Manager will be all about building, managing, and scaling brand-owned creator communities (cohorts). You will be at the helm of redefining what influencer eco system can do for Brand when the two decide to join their creative forces. This role goes beyond campaign execution and focuses on transforming influencers into long-term brand advocates, driving always-on content, cultural relevance, and business impact.
In this role, you will be responsible for
1. Creator Cohort Development
- Identify, onboard, and segment creators into structured cohorts (macro, MUA, affinity-based, regional, etc).
- Build and maintain always-on talent pools aligned to brand objectives
- Develop a dynamic creator database including content style, audience profile, engagement metrics, and brand affinity
- Continuously scout emerging creators across platforms (Instagram, YouTube)
2. Talent Relationship Management & Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned creator cohorts
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships with influencers
Drive regular engagement through:
- Community groups (e.g., WhatsApp, DM, etc)
- Product seeding and early access
- Events, meet-ups, and exclusive brand experiences
- Access to R&I labs, product development teams, and scientists to deepen product credibility and storytelling
- Enable creators with brand knowledge, product education, and content guidance
3. Content & Collaboration
- Co-create platform-native, culturally relevant content ideas with creators
- Drive always-on content pipelines vs one-time campaign bursts
- Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines while retaining creator authenticity
- Support new formats such as live commerce, creator-led storytelling, and short-form video
4. Campaign & Talent Deployment
- Identify and deploy the right creators for the right campaigns
Manage end-to-end execution:
- Briefing
- Negotiation
- Deliverables tracking
- Timelines
- Ensure quality, consistency, and brand compliance across all outputs
5. Performance & Analytics
- Track and evaluate creator-level performance:
Reach, engagement, saves, conversions
- Analyze cohort effectiveness and contribution to brand KPIs
Generate insights on:
- High-performing creators
- Content formats
- Platform trends
- Collaborate with media and brand teams to optimize impact
You're a great match for this role if you have:
- 5-6 years of experience in Influencer marketing / talent management / social media
- Strong understanding of the Indian creator ecosystem
- Existing network of creators is a strong advantage (beauty preferred)
- Experience working with agencies, creators, or talent platforms
