Key Responsibilities: Category Strategy - Evaluate the Market Landscape today, and how the landscape is likely to evolve in the near future. - Identify the opportunity areas, define the size of prize and craft the category vision for LOreal - Identify the Jobs to be done for each of the brands and SKUs to help achieve the Category vision - Design and execute the interventions that will allow LOreal to achieve its Category Vision (Consistent, Competitive and Profitable Growth) Category and Brand Go to Market - Define the role of each channel in helping us deliver on the Category vision - Define the assortment master plan for the category at a brand x channel level - Own all Category & Brand Activations and Event plans from conceptualization to execution as well as measure impact - Define the promotion strategy for all channels O+O (provide as a framework for commercial who owns the promo budget). - Build and own the Shopper marketing relationship with retailers: in collaboration with Key Account Manager, including crafting selling stories to collaborate on category building initiatives KPIs: (Category and brand Level) - Top Line Growth - Market Share% - Gross Margin % - NPS / Category Expertise Ranking Core Skills: - Expertise in Brand and/or Category management - Strong understanding of FMCG Route to Market - Strong on Critical thinking and Data based decision making - Strong Beauty Bias (appreciation of Beauty Categories) - Strong communicator Key Stakeholders: - Category Business Development Team: Revenue Growth Management team, Merchandising Team, Retail Category Mgr. - Marketing: BBL, Product Brand Manager - Sales: Channel Heads, Tribe Head, KAM - Others: CMI, E-Com, Control, Zone Category Team Job Architecture: - Reports to : Category Leader - Job Role : Category Activation Manager Physical Demands (e.g. % travel): - Travel will be need based Education: - MBA from a Top Tier School
