Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management & Advisory Existing & New Business (35%).
- Act as the primary contact point for key NRI clients for all investment, trading, and service needs.
- Work on referrals from existing base and new acquisitions to acquire new codes to system.
- Provide periodic portfolio reviews, performance insights, and product recommendations.
- Coordinate with research and dealing desks for client investment opportunities and execution.
- Handle escalations with ownership and ensure superior turnaround and satisfaction levels.
- Manage the end-to-end client lifecycle - from onboarding to relationship deepening.
Operations, Coordination & Service Delivery (30%).
- Ensure smooth operational handling of NRI trading, settlement, and fund flow processes.
- Coordinate with banks for PIS/non-PIS account setups, remittances, and compliance confirmations.
- Monitor client trade settlement cycles, contract note issuance, and reconciliations.
- Work closely with depository, RMS, and back-office teams for error-free execution.
- Maintain data accuracy and support MIS/reporting for NRI book performance.
Compliance, Risk & Regulatory Governance (15%).
- Ensure all NRI client accounts and transactions comply with SEBI, FEMA, and RBI norms.
- Liaise with compliance for periodic reviews, audits, and regulatory submissions.
- Track and implement updates in RBI/SEBI circulars impacting NRI investments.
- Maintain client-wise documentation, FATCA declarations, and transaction records.
- Conduct internal awareness sessions on NRI compliance protocols for RMs and operations.
Internal Coordination & Knowledge Enablement (20%).
- Collaborate with product, research, and marketing teams for NRI-specific communication and campaigns.
- Share client insights to refine product offerings and service frameworks.
- Support training of internal teams (RMs, Dealers, Operations) on NRI processes.
- Participate in system improvement discussions to simplify NRI onboarding and servicing.
Skill Set & Competency Requirements:
- Technical / Functional Skills: FEMA, RBI, SEBI knowledge, PIS operations, product expertise, compliance handling.
- Behavioral / Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills verbal and written, Client handling skills, ownership mindset, coordination, ethical discipline, conflict management.
Qualifications:
Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or Management.
MBA (Finance/Marketing) preferred.
Role Classification:
