Job Title : Director-Operations

Location : Bahadurgarh, Haryana

Reporting To : Managing Director / Promoter

Position Purpose :

The Director - Operations will lead multiple plant operations and drive operational excellence across Production, Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance, Lean Manufacturing, and Process Engineering. The role is responsible for improving productivity, ensuring quality standards are met, optimizing resources, and delivering safe, efficient, and profitable manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations across all plants.

- Plan and monitor production to achieve output, delivery, and cost targets.

- Drive quality systems, zero-defect initiatives, and customer satisfaction.

- Oversee Tool Room operations, maintenance, and equipment reliability.

- Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and continuous improvement practices.

- Lead process engineering initiatives for capacity enhancement, waste reduction, and cycle time improvement.

- Review plant KPIs, productivity, scrap, rework, downtime, and OEE.

- Coordinate with supply chain, purchase, finance, and sales teams for smooth operations.

- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and environmental requirements.

- Build and lead high-performing plant and operations teams.

- Support capex planning, automation, and expansion projects.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering with management qualifications.

- 20+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.

- Strong background in electrical laminations or similar engineering manufacturing.

- Proven leadership in multi-plant operations.

- Experience in production, quality, maintenance, tool room, and process improvement.

Preferred Profile :

- Male candidate, around 50 years of age.

- Strong hands-on leadership with excellent execution skills.

- Ability to work closely with senior management and drive results.

- Stable career with exposure to medium/large manufacturing setups.
