About the Role:
We're looking for a Associate Creative Director who lives and breathes beauty, culture, and social storytelling-with copy as your superpower. This is a copy-first role: your words will shape how the brand sounds, feels, and connects across Instagram, social platforms, and beyond. You'll lead the creative vision while staying hands-on with the craft, ensuring every caption, campaign, and concept is sharp, scroll-stopping, and true to the brand.
What You'll Do:
- Define and own the brand's voice across Instagram, Reddit, and other key social channels.
- Concept, write, and oversee copy for social campaigns, influencer activations, and product launches.
- Partner with design and content teams to bring ideas to life with a strong blend of visuals and words.
- Set the creative direction for social storytelling, always grounded in cultural relevance and beauty industry trends.
- Review, refine, and elevate all copy-from captions to campaign manifestos-to ensure clarity, wit, and consistency.
- Lead brainstorms and inspire teams with ideas that push the brand's creative boundaries.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and comms to align messaging across touchpoints.
What We're Looking For:
- 6+ years of experience in copywriting/creative direction, ideally with strong beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brand exposure.
- Instagram Wizard, bang on trends, lives on virality
- Proven ability to craft brand voice and storytelling across social media (Instagram is your home turf).
- A mix of conceptual thinking and hands-on copywriting skills.
- Deep understanding of how social content travels, trends, and performs.
- Leadership experience: able to direct designers, writers, and content creators with clarity and vision.
- Sharp attention to detail, cultural awareness, and a love for pushing creative standards.
