- As the Excellence Manager - Finance, you will oversee and manage all aspects of KNIL's freight settlement services.
- This role requires deep knowledge of freight payments, financial processes, and technology solutions.
- You will work closely with internal teams, customers, and 3PL providers to streamline processes, ensure accuracy, and drive operational efficiency.

- Oversee freight settlement services, ensuring full control of financial flows and alignment with KN financial guidelines.
- Manage internal/external escalations and support customer month-end closures.
- Ensure accurate accruals, reporting, and cost allocation as per customer requirements.
- Own the onboarding process for new Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) regarding freight settlement.
- Act as a single point of contact for freight settlement topics, resolving billing queries with root cause analysis.
- Create and maintain SOPs related to freight settlement and accruals.
- Develop and present key performance indicators (KPIs) internally and externally to monitor financial health and drive improvements.
- Ensure proper month-end closure, handling accruals and accurate billing in line with financial and contractual obligations.
- Maintain accurate financial reports and logistics indicators (e. , FIN report, accruals, E2E freight settlement KPIs).
- Ensure delivery of process improvements across stakeholders based on root cause analysis.
- Ensure adherence to customer contractual financial KPIs and KN internal audit standards.
- Compliance (GDP/GxP - if applicable):.
- Ensure activities comply with WHO/EU GDP guidelines, customer Quality Agreements, and relevant legal standards.
- Supervise documentation practices, storage, and archiving of GxP documents.
- Ensure 100% compliance with GDP/GxP, KN Pharma Chain, Battery Chain, Engine Chain, etc. , if applicable.
Key Performance Indicators:.
- Compliance with KN financial guidelines (evaluated periodically via audits).
- Adherence to customer contract requirements and financial KPIs.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Execute additional tasks and follow supervisor instructions, provided they comply with laws, ethical standards, and safety regulations.
- Respect company confidentiality, data protection rules, and compliance regulations.
- Use company property responsibly and ensure timely, reliable task completion.
What we would like you to bring.
- Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Experience: 5-10 years in finance, preferably in logistics or freight settlement.
- Freight Settlement: Strong knowledge of freight billing, accruals, and cost allocation.
- Reporting: Skilled in financial reporting, KPI tracking, and data analysis.
- SOPs: Experience developing and maintaining SOPs.
- Compliance: Understanding of financial controls, audits, GDP/GxP compliance.
- Month-End: Experience managing accruals and account closures.
