Job description:


Location: Hyderabad, Telangana.


Designation: General Manager - HR & Admin.


Compensation: 24L - 30L per annum.


Reporting To: President.

Role Summary:


- This is a leadership role responsible for setting up people systems, labor engagement models, and factory governance across multi-shift, multi-line electronics and motor assembly units.


- This role owns the people engine of Kryon's largest facility.


Key Responsibilities:


- Draft and enforce factory HR policies, wage structures, disciplinary codes, shift regulations, and performance management frameworks in line with industry standards and legal compliance.


- Ensure adherence to all applicable labor laws, Factories Act provisions, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines, and conduct periodic internal and third-party audits.


- Design and implement recruitment strategies for operators, engineers, supervisors, and support staff; collaborate with ITI's, polytechnics, and external staffing agencies to fulfil manpower needs.


- Build and implement HRMS systems to track attendance, leave balances, shift planning, payroll inputs, and productivity metrics.


- Oversee administrative operations including security staffing, factory transportation, canteen hygiene and cost optimization, accommodation arrangements for workers, and visitor management.


- Liaise with local authorities including Labor Inspectorate, Fire Department, and Industrial Safety offices; ensure audit readiness for ISO, BSCI, SA8000, and customer-specific code-of-conduct inspections.


- Set up internal grievance redressal mechanisms, reward & recognition programs, and quarterly engagement initiatives to maintain workforce morale and reduce attrition.


- Implement structured training modules on safety, skill enhancement, process discipline, 5S, Kaizen, and standard work practices for contract and permanent workforce.


- Work with finance and plant teams to prepare HR budgets, cost optimization plans, and manpower productivity KPIs for board reporting. Maintain digital and physical records as per labor law requirements; ensure timely renewal of licenses, contracts, and compliance filings.


Qualification: MSW / MBA HR with 10+ years in factory HR/IR roles.


Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Telugu.


Skills & Competencies Required:

- Strong expertise in Factory HR, Industrial Relations, labor laws, and statutory compliance

- Experience managing contract labor, unions, negotiations, and grievance handling

- Proven leadership in handling large teams across HR, Admin, Security, Transport, and Facilities

- Hands-on experience with HRMS systems (attendance, shifts, payroll inputs, productivity tracking)

- Ability to manage factory administration including canteen, transport, accommodation, and vendor governance

- Exposure to audits and compliance frameworks (ISO, BSCI, SA8000, customer audits)

- Experience in high-volume hiring through ITIs, polytechnics, and staffing agencies

- Strong budget management, manpower planning, and productivity KPI tracking skills

- Familiarity with safety trainings, 5S, Kaizen, and workforce development practices
