Preferred Industry : Jewellery (candidates from other industries with strong relevant experience may also be considered)

Role Overview:

The Senior Merchandising Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end merchandising and supply chain function-from product selection to vendor closure. The role focuses on ensuring optimal inventory levels, improving supply chain efficiency, and building strong vendor relationships to support overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the complete merchandising lifecycle, including product selection, procurement, and vendor closure

- Ensure high product availability across all categories by improving supply chain efficiency

- Monitor and control inventory to minimize dead stock and excess inventory

- Drive inventory optimization strategies to improve stock turnover and reduce holding costs

- Handle escalations with vendors and internal stakeholders effectively

- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, including negotiations and performance tracking

- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams for demand planning and forecasting

- Analyze sales trends and market demand to guide merchandising decisions

- Ensure timely procurement and efficient replenishment planning
