Job Overview
The Assistant Manager - Operations is responsible for ensuring smooth store operations, efficient inventory management, accurate reconciliation, and strong execution of backend processes. The role also supports sales operations and enhances overall customer experience through effective coordination and process control.
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning
- Ensure adherence to SOPs across all departments
- Monitor inventory planning, stock ageing, and rotation
- Conduct periodic stock audits (daily/monthly)
- Ensure accurate stock reconciliation and minimize discrepancies
- Supervise CRM and maintain customer data hygiene
- Ensure accuracy in billing, reporting, and backend processes
- Coordinate with internal teams for continuous process improvement
- Collaborate with sales, accounts, merchandising, and warehouse teams
- Support the sales team with operational requirements
- Ensure seamless communication across departments
- Ensure adherence to company policies and audit requirements
- Maintain proper documentation and operational reports
- Educational background in IAS / CA / CS
- Strong operational and analytical mindset
- Experience in the luxury retail/jewellery industry preferred
- Good knowledge of inventory management and reconciliation
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
