Your Role:

- As a Cost Auditor, you'll play a key role in driving compliance, efficiency, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct cost audits as per Cost Accounting Records Rules (CARR) & Companies (Cost Records and Audit) Rules, 2014

- Review and validate cost records, cost sheets, and production/inventory valuations

- Ensure compliance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and statutory audit requirements

- Analyze cost data to identify variances and opportunities for optimization

- Prepare cost audit reports, working papers, and statutory filings

- Collaborate with finance, production & operations teams for reconciliation and data accuracy

- Provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvement

Qualifications & Skills:

- CMA (Cost & Management Accountant) or Semi-qualified CMA

- Minimum 3 years' experience in cost audit / cost accounting (manufacturing or engineering industry)

- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally); ERPNext proficiency is a bonus

- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
