Description:
We are looking for a high-ownership, data-driven Business Manager UPI Growth to help scale KreditBees UPI product. This role will focus on user growth, activation, engagement, and partnerships, working closely with product, marketing, design, and engineering teams.
This is an execution-heavy role with strong exposure to strategy, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration, ideal for someone early in their career who wants to build deep expertise in fintech growth.
Key Responsibilities:
UPI Growth & User Lifecycle
- Own and execute the UPI growth roadmap across user acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention.
- Drive new user adoption and improve conversion across the UPI onboarding and transaction funnel.
- Track and optimize core growth metrics such as activation rate, transaction frequency, retention, and repeat usage.
Campaigns & Channel Execution
- Design and execute user activation, re-engagement, and retention campaigns across channels such as:
- Push notifications
- WhatsApp
- In-app placements
- Paid channels (Google, Meta) in collaboration with marketing teams
- Continuously test messaging, offers, and journeys to improve conversion and engagement.
Partnerships & Ecosystem Growth
- Support onboarding and management of partners such as brands, merchants, payment gateways, reward, and coupon providers.
- Work on initiatives that enhance UPI usage, transaction volume, and user experience through partnerships and offers.
Analytics & Insights
- Analyze user behavior and funnel data to identify drop-offs, friction points, and growth opportunities.
- Generate actionable insights to improve conversion, retention, and lifetime value.
- Build simple dashboards and frameworks to track performance and support decision-making.
Experimentation & Scaling
- Identify new growth ideas and run small pilots and experiments to validate impact.
- Work with stakeholders to scale successful initiatives across the platform.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with product, design, engineering, compliance, and marketing teams to:
- Launch and improve UPI features
- Enhance user journeys and experience
- Ensure regulatory and compliance alignment
- Act as the business point of contact for UPI-related initiatives.
Role Requirements:
Experience & Background
- 24 years of experience in consumer internet, fintech, e-commerce, or high-growth startups.
- Prior exposure to growth, category management, business operations, or product growth roles is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data and metrics.
- Ability to think structured and execution-first, with a bias toward action and experimentation.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Good communication skills with the ability to align teams and drive outcomes.
Mindset
- High ownership, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Curious about user behavior, fintech products, and growth levers.
- Willingness to learn, iterate, and take feedback quickly.
