Role Overview :
As a Technical Director within TE-SAP, the leader will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of delivery excellence, SAP Finance solution architecture, sales/pre-sales, and practice growth. The individual will act as a strategic advisor to CFOs and finance leadership, a trusted partner to client CXOs, and a practice leader driving finance transformation and value realization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and govern end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA FICO programs across greenfield, brownfield, and global rollout engagements.
- Ensure delivery excellence through robust governance, financial controls, risk management, quality assurance, and adherence to SAP Activate methodology.
- Manage program financials, delivery timelines, and senior stakeholder expectations to ensure predictable and profitable delivery outcomes.
- Own SAP Finance solution architecture across S/4HANA Finance (FI, CO), Group Reporting, Asset Accounting, Treasury, FSCM, and integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, Ariba, and third-party systems.
- Own revenue growth and profitability by driving pipeline creation, solutioning, deal closures, and practice P&L through strategic accounts and senior finance stakeholder relationships.
- Drive adoption of S/4HANA finance innovations including Universal Journal, Central Finance, New Asset Accounting, SAP BTP extensions, embedded analytics, AI-driven finance insights, and SAP Signavio.
- Translate finance, controlling, and regulatory requirements into scalable, compliant, and future-ready SAP finance solutions aligned with industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 15+ years of relevant SAP experience with deep expertise in SAP FICO and S/4HANA Finance.
- Extensive hands-on experience in S/4HANA Finance solution design, configuration oversight, and architecture.
- Experience across record-to-report, controlling, management accounting, financial close, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Proven leadership in managing large, multi-country SAP finance transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, regulatory reporting, and shared services models.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presence.
