Technical Director - SAP Ariba - Leadership Role

Role Overview :

As a Technical Director within TE-SAP, the leader will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of delivery excellence, SAP Ariba/Intelligent Spend Management solution architecture, sales/pre-sales, and practice growth. The individual will act as a strategic advisor to clients, a trusted CXO partner, and a practice leader driving procurement and spend transformation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and govern end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA Ariba programs across greenfield and domestic/global rollout engagements.

- Ensure delivery excellence through good governance, risk management, quality assurance, and adherence to SAP Activate and Ariba implementation methodologies.

- Manage program financials, timelines, and stakeholder expectations to ensure predictable and profitable delivery outcomes.

- Own SAP Ariba solution architecture across Sourcing, Contracts, Buying & Invoicing, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, Spend

- Analytics, and integration with SAP S/4HANA MM, FI, and third-party systems.

- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, future-ready SAP solutions aligned to industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 15+ years of relevant SAP experience with deep expertise in SAP Ariba and digital procurement solutions.

- Extensive hands-on experience in SAP Ariba solution design, configuration oversight, and architecture.

- Experience across Source-to-Pay, supplier enablement, buying & invoicing, and spend governance.

- Good understanding of procurement, finance integration, and shared services operating models.

- Proven leadership in managing large, multi-country SAP Ariba programs.

Educational Qualifications :

- B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech / MBA or equivalent.

- Minimum one regular 3-year academic degree is mandatory.

- SAP Certifications (Ariba / S/4HANA / IBP / BTP) are preferred.
