Job Title: Strategy Consultant Service Line: Government & Public sector Practice: Industrial and Infrastructure Development Advisory (IIDA) - KPMG India Location: Delhi/Mumbai Qualifications: Masters in Business Administration or Public Policy Practice Overview: The Industrial and Infrastructure Development Advisory (IIDA) practice of KPMG in India plays a pivotal role in advancing India's development objectives. We bridge the gap between the Government's vision and execution, driving impactful initiatives across infrastructure, industrial, and Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) development, as well as tourism, leisure, and sports. Role Overview: KPMG India is seeking a skilled Consultant/Assistant Manager for the Industrial and Infrastructure Development Advisory (IIDA) practice. The role involves supporting business development, preparing proposals and RFP documents, and executing consulting engagements across various sectors. Key responsibilities include market research, financial modelling, and providing analysis to support client decisions. The candidate will help seniors in identifying new business opportunities, develop strategic initiatives, and deliver tailored advisory services, requiring excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office tools. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the development and execution of business strategies for the IIDA practice. - Conduct market research and assessments to inform project strategies. - Develop financial models, valuations, and projection models to support client engagements. - Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored advisory services. - Prepare and present reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and stakeholders. - Support the management of project timelines, deliverables, and client communications. - Contribute to the growth and development of the IIDA practice through thought leadership and innovative solutions. Qualifications & Experience: - Masters in a relevant field (Business Administration, Public Policy, etc.). - 2-5 years of experience in strategy assignments. - Proficiency in financial modelling, valuation, projection modelling, and market research/assessment. - Preferable sector knowledge in transport, infrastructure, and water. - Excellent command of language and proficiency in MS Office tools. - Prior experience in consulting or think tanks is preferred.
