Job Title: Skills Development and TVET Specialist Location: Shillong, Meghalaya Company: KPMG Advisory Services Pvt Ltd Practice: Education and Skill Development About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Skills Development and TVET Specialist to support a skills project in Shillong, Meghalaya. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in technical and vocational education and training (TVET), with a strong understanding of India's national skills qualification standards and experience working with Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) or reputed vocational training agencies. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support in the design, implementation, and monitoring of skills development and TVET initiatives. - Align training programs with India's National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF). - Collaborate with ITIs, vocational training providers, and government stakeholders. - Contribute to curriculum development, capacity building, and quality assurance processes. - Support project reporting, documentation, and knowledge sharing. Qualifications: - Master's degree in Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related discipline. Experience: - Minimum 8 years of professional experience in skills development and TVET. - Proven familiarity with India's national skills qualification standards. - Prior work with ITIs or reputed vocational training agencies in India is highly desirable. - Exposure to international technical education programs will be an added advantage. Preferred Criteria: 1. Experience working on International Financial Institution (IFI)-funded projects. 2. Candidates from Meghalaya or the Northeast region will be given preference.
