KPMG - Senior Water Supply Expert

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of urban water supply projects.

- Develop and oversee strategies for NRW reduction and water loss management.

- Conduct hydraulic modeling and network design using WaterGEMS or equivalent software.

- Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), feasibility studies, and technical documentation.

- Ensure compliance with national and international standards for water supply infrastructure.

- Collaborate with government agencies, urban planners, and engineering teams to integrate water supply solutions into broader urban development plans.

- Monitor project progress, quality, and budget adherence.

- Provide technical guidance and capacity building to project teams and stakeholders.

- Engage with community groups and local authorities to ensure inclusive and sustainable project outcomes.

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, policies, and best practices in urban water management.

Qualification and Skill Sets

- Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Environmental Engineering, Public Health Engineering, or equivalent.

- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in urban water supply projects.

- Proven experience in designing and implementing water supply systems, including NRW reduction programs.

- Proficiency in WaterGEMS or similar hydraulic modeling software.

- Experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects (project cost > ?1000 Crores).

- Strong understanding of water quality standards, distribution systems, and regulatory frameworks.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- High personal and professional integrity, with the ability to work collaboratively and under pressure,
