KPMG India's Digital Government Advisory (DGA) practice helps government bodies modernize public services through technology. It offers strategic consulting, digital architecture, and sector-specific solutions across areas like transport, water, justice, and finance. The team enables large-scale e-Governance, data analytics, and automation to improve efficiency and citizen experience.

>>About the Role:

We are seeking a Security Project Management & Governance to lead strategic security initiatives for government and public sector clients. The role involves managing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks, and mitigating risks while engaging with key stakeholders.

>>Key Responsibilities:

Governance:

- Develop and implement security governance frameworks

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards

Project Management:

- Manage end-to-end delivery of security projects

- Define scope, timelines, and resource allocation

Risk Management:

- Identify potential security risks

- Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans

Vendor Management:

- Manage vendor contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

- Ensure timely delivery and quality compliance

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Collaborate with government clients and key stakeholders

- Provide strategic advisory on security governance and project execution

>>Required Qualifications & Experience:

Education: B.E / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or related field

- Certification: PMP or Prince2 (Mandatory)

Experience:

- 6+ years in Security Project Management & Strategy/Governance

- 4+ years working with Government/Public Sector clients

- Strong knowledge of security governance frameworks and compliance standards

- Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)

- Risk assessment and mitigation planning

- Vendor and contract management

- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
