About the Digital Government Advisory Team

KPMG India's Digital Government Advisory (DGA) practice helps government bodies modernize public services through technology. It offers strategic consulting, digital architecture, and sector-specific solutions across areas like transport, water, justice, and finance. The team enables large-scale e-Governance, data analytics, and automation to improve efficiency and citizen experience.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SAP PMO professional to manage and oversee SAP projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, SAP expertise, and experience in end-to-end implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage SAP project lifecycle from initiation to closure.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports.

- Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies; implement mitigation strategies.

- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and SAP best practices.

- Facilitate stakeholder communication and manage expectations.

- Support resource allocation and budgeting for SAP projects.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- Education: Any graduate (preferably with a background in IT or Management).

- Experience:

- 5-8 years of SAP project management experience.

- At least one end-to-end SAP implementation experience (preferred).

- Strong understanding of SAP modules and integration points.

- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

- SAP certification in Project Management or related modules.

- Experience in handling multiple SAP projects simultaneously.

- Knowledge of PMO governance frameworks and reporting tools.
