KPMG | PPP Expert:
The PPP Expert will lead the structuring, evaluation, and execution of Public-Private Partnership projects across infrastructure, industrial development, utilities, and public service delivery. The role requires strong technical, financial, and regulatory understanding of PPP frameworks and hands on experience working with government bodies, concessionaires, and multilateral agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, structure, and design PPP projects including feasibility studies, financial models, and risk assessments.
- Prepare RFQ/RFP documents, concession agreements, and support bid process management.
- Conduct stakeholder consultations with government departments, industry players, and legal/financial advisors.
- Evaluate project viability, risk sharing frameworks, revenue models, and funding options.
- Support negotiations with bidders, lenders, and concessionaires.
- Ensure alignment with state/central PPP policies, regulatory guidelines, and procurement norms.
- Provide ongoing advisory during project implementation, monitoring, and contract management.
- Prepare progress reports, presentations, and technical documentation for senior leadership.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Post graduate degree in Engineering / Economics / Finance / Public Policy / MBA or equivalent.
- 8-12 years of experience in PPP structuring, transaction advisory, or infrastructure consulting.
- Hands on experience with financial modelling, project structuring, and government procurement.
- Strong understanding of legal frameworks (Model Concession Agreements, sectoral guidelines).
- Experience working with government authorities, PSUs, or multilateral agencies desirable.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in PPP frameworks (BOT, DBFOT, HAM, O&M contracts, hybrid models).
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
- Excellent drafting and documentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multi stakeholder teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in industrial infrastructure, logistics, urban services, or utilities.
- Understanding of state industrial policies and land monetization models.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Location:
- Base location: Delhi/ NCR
- Should be open to travel for project requirements
