KPMG's Education and Skills Advisory team, works with multiple clients and projects that demands design and execution of marketing initiatives, developing a communication plan and executing outreach events and activities both in the online as well as offline formats. The role is expected to build a strong network of higher education institutions, academic organizations, and industry bodies to enable strong adoption of digital and offline products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy & Planning

- Draft Annual Plan and Strategy with Quarterly and Monthly activity break up for the individual Goal/Objective. Strategy and Plan should be in alignment with team goal/objectives.

- Effective execution of planned strategy and plan, achieving planned outcomes. Support and contribute in achieving team outcomes.

2. Business Development & Account Management

- Play active role in Lead Generation and Conversion, maintain active pipeline, convert opportunities to closure and achieve the respective team targets.

- Effective in communication - Oral, Written and Presentation.

- Experience in Consultative Sales - Identifying Need, Creating Customized Solution and Effective in Communicating the value.

- Support in driving client development activities to generate leads, create plan to identify new opportunities/ markets, coordinate pre sales and sales support process.

- Experience in handling Inside Sales or Lead Generation Team.

- Update reports, CRM and dashboards on the activities and information.

3. Product development support

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define clear and actionable product requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with organizational goals.

- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, addressing any concerns or discrepancies to ensure the delivery of high-quality marketing events and campaigns.

- Compare the clients / internal teams' product stack and offerings against peers, identifying areas for improvement or differentiation.

- Stay at the forefront of development in education by researching and implementing new tools and practices aimed at enhancing user experience and learning outcomes.

4. Data analysis and decision support:

- Skilled in developing intuitive, data-driven dashboards that provide actionable insights, empowering both educators and learners with real-time data visualization.

- Routinely gather data from various sources within the platform, including user engagement metrics, learning outcomes, and system performance data.

- Analyze the available data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement for the product.

- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards that summarize analysis findings, providing actionable insights to stakeholders across the company.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Master's degree in management or related field. MBA is a plus.

- 8-10 years of experience in Business development and product management, preferably within the education sector

- Proven track record of successfully achieve organization targets in the education sector.

- Strong network of contacts within the higher education industry, including academic leaders, administrators, and decision-makers.

- Excellent understanding of the challenges and trends in higher education and familiarity with learning technologies and solutions in this context.

- Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts and solutions in a clear and compelling manner.

- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify market opportunities and develop effective business strategies.

- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
