About the Role:

KPMG India is seeking a dynamic professional to join our Industrial Development team as a Manager/ Associate Director. This role focuses on driving strategic initiatives, policy advisory, and project execution to foster industrial growth and attract investments. You will work closely with government bodies, industry stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Policy Advisory:

- Develop industrial development strategies aligned with state and national priorities.

- Provide policy recommendations to government and industry associations.

Project Management:

- Lead end-to-end execution of industrial development projects (industrial parks, corridors, SEZ etc.), including techno-economic feasibility studies, sectoral analysis, and implementation support.

- Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Liaise with government departments, industry leaders, and investors to facilitate industrial growth initiatives.

- Conduct consultations, and capacity-building programs.

Research & Analysis:

- Perform market assessments, sectoral studies, and benchmarking exercises.

- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and proposals for clients.

Business Development:

- Support in identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and contributing to thought leadership in industrial development.

What We're Looking For:

- MBA/PGDM or Master's in Economics/Engineering/Urban Planning from a reputed institute.

- 8-10 years of experience in Government consulting in the domain of industrial infrastructure development.

- Prior working experience with top-tier consulting firms.

- Strong understanding of industrial infrastructure (Industrial Parks, Corridors or economic zones), experience in market demand assessments, product mix, techno-commercial feasibility studies, conceptual master planning.

- Experience of working with State Industrial Development Corporations/ State Industries Departments

- Prior experience in procurements (EPC/PPP) preferred.
