Role & Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret financial information including Trial Balance, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, Ind-AS, and other applicable accounting frameworks.
- Provide technical accounting advisory and accounting research support on complex accounting matters and implementation of new accounting standards.
- Support clients and engagement teams on accounting and reporting matters related to mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, IPOs, debt offerings, and capital raising transactions.
- Advise on accounting treatment for complex transactions involving revenue recognition, lease accounting, financial instruments, and business combinations.
- Assist in GAAP conversion projects and preparation of technical accounting memos and whitepapers.
- Lead and review the work of Consultants and Associate Consultants while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Manage stakeholder communication and collaborate with global/onshore teams across multiple engagements.
- Support proposal development and business growth initiatives as required.
- Prepare regular project updates and mentor junior team members through coaching and feedback.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- CA, CPA, or ACCA qualified professional with 4 - 7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and/or Ind-AS accounting standards.
- Experience in Accounting Advisory, Technical Accounting, Financial Reporting, Assurance, or External Reporting functions.
- Hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS.
- Exposure to M&A accounting, IPO readiness, carve-outs, divestitures, revenue recognition, lease accounting, or business combination accounting will be preferred.
- Strong accounting research, analytical, and technical writing capabilities.
- Experience in project management, stakeholder management, and team handling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a global onshore-offshore environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality work within tight deadlines.
